Welcome to the studio

At the beginning of every project, there is a space in the making. A still-vague intention, a need seeking form, a daily life yearning for something better. It is in this in-between space that our studio intervenes: not to impose a vision, but to guide people in bringing out the best in their interiors. Our work consists of transforming spaces so that they truly support those who inhabit them.

In Montreal, Studio Design Karo designs residential, commercial, and multi-residential environments with an approach that combines design, architecture, empathy, and strategy. Each project begins with attentive listening: understanding the uses, constraints, habits, pain points, and aspirations. We observe the spaces in situ, analyze the context, validate our assumptions, and continuously refine our solutions. This approach, inspired by empathetic design, allows us to create sustainable environments.


Studio Design Karo is today a growing studio, engaged in a profound transformation: optimizing its processes, strengthening its expertise, disseminating knowledge and contributing to the evolution of practices in design and architecture.
